WHY I LOVE TEACHING
I have been teaching and touring internationally for the last 10 years across the USA and Europe. Playing with a host of bands on some of the world's most sought after stages, like Red Rocks Amphitheater, Rawa Blues Festival, Dorthy Chandler Pavilion, to name a few. Based in the States until recently relocating to the UK, I have firmly established myself as an award winning and in demand professional saxophonist and music tutor.
During my career as a professional musician, I have worked extensively as a personal tutor, with a full roster of private students studying various instruments at all ages and abilities. Adept in both jazz and classical music, I have successfully instructed and coached students through some of the most competitive auditions. My students have gone on to gain entry into some of the most prestigious music schools in the United States, as well as performing in the top All State and Honor Bands across the country.
As a professional Saxophonist, for the band Fox Street (named 'must see' by the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune), I have played global tours with attendances of over 10,000 people. The band was also awarded “best traditional rock band” by Denver’s Westwood Showcase in 2014.
As a sideman and guest performer, I have played with the likes of; Grammy winning Blind Boy's of Alabama, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Stanton Moore, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Johnny Neal (Allman Brothers Band), Robert Randolph, Alexander Liebreich (Conductor/ Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra), Disco Biscuits, New Mastersounds, Big Gigantic, and legendary jazz pianist Art Lande.
