Mirco Altenbach has established himself as an award winning and in-demand saxophonist. With numerous successful national and international tours under his belt, he has seen the world and played many of its stages. In particular with Fox Street (named must see by the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune) he has played global festivals and with attendances of over 10,000; this Colorado based group was also awarded “best traditional rock band” by Denver's Westwood Showcase.
As a sideman and guest performer, Mirco has played with the likes of; Grammy winning Blind Boy's of Alabama, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Stanton Moore, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Johnny Neal (Allman Brothers Band), Robert Randolph, Alexander Liebreich (Conductor/ Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra), Disco Biscuits, New Mastersounds, Big Gigantic, and legendary jazz pianist Art Lande.
